In 2011, 66 children came to Finland through Interpedia. The number is the same as in 2010 (67). - At the moment several adoption processes are well underway, therefore the new year is looking bright, says Interpedia's Executive Director Anja Ojuva.
- During the past year, cooperation with our foreign contacts has worked very well and we are very happy about many improvements. A very good team is currently working on the China Special Needs -programme. The programme has established itself and we can now take more families into it. Cooperation with our new Colombian partner, La Casa de la Madre y el Niño, has also started in a promising way. Mutual visits by both have increased knowledge and understanding of each other's ways of working. Last year we visited again almost all of our contacts and many have also visited us. Regular meetings in person still form a strong basis to our work, Ojuva explains.
